“Every day, in every way, I’m feeling better and better”
Tony Robbins
There’s a lot to be said for that phrase, and the first time I heard it I was about 19 or 20 years old. A good friend at the time had introduced me to Tony Robbins! My first exposure really to self-help, or personal development. Everything is about taking it one step at a time.
The words stuck with me, but never really became internalised. Until this year.
Each day, one small step towards your goals, can have a HUGE impact on everything you do. It’s all about the incremental changes. +1% each day at the end of the year doesn’t equal 365% improvement. That would be a 3.65X result.
Incrementally, it equals closer to 3778% improvement – which is nearly 38X (take that Grant Cardone)!
So what’s the one step at a time you can take each and every day towards your goal?
Some of mine included simply eating healthier. Then it was simply doing 10 press-ups each day. I started reading a chapter every morning. After that, journalling each day. Followed by adding in a Calm meditation session. Then adding in daily walking. That lead to running 3 times a week.
Each of these small actions, now combined and nearly 4 months later, have resulted in me being in the best physical and mental shape of my life. Having more energy than ever before. Sleeping better than I ever have.
The cumulative effects are almost mind-boggling. But it all starts with one simple step to improve by 1% each and every day.
Trust me when I say, the results will follow. And they will follow fast.
